What campers think canoeing will be like
what it is actually like:
Hahah I am so looking forward to camp this summer.
Life's journey, both here and there.
what it is actually like:
Hahah I am so looking forward to camp this summer.

Last summer I wiled away the summer sunshine with little kiddlets at a wonderful, amazing camp in the Poconos of Pennsylvania called Camp Cayuga.
It’s happening again.
This really isn’t anything new, as I made it official at the beginning of January, but I haven’t posted anything in so long because, well, I haven’t been traveling much in the last 8 months or so, and that is pretty much what this blog is about.
Anyway, I’m super excited to be going back to Niles Pond Road (“the place where I belong…” -Camp Song), and meeting all the new staff (which, judging by the staff page on FB, include some pretty awesome people) that will be joining all us returners. Hopefully a really good friend of mine will also be joining the staff. So far, all indications point to it being a fan-freaking-tastic summer, and I can’t wait.

And the English version!
Amazing video, amazing school, amazing people and I miss it more than words can say.
I got a call from a guy who works at the DC headquarters for the company through which I studied abroad, saying that a magazine was doing a story on the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster and how it affected students who were studying abroad in Japan at the time. They saw my blog, and wanted to use some of my photos for the story.
So, long story short,
I’m going to be a published photographer!
And looking though all my posts from abroad, I realized I never posted my pictures from our little day trip to Nara. So, nearly 7 months late, here they are. :)
